FAQ

What are cannabinoids?

Naturally found in the hemp plant, cannabinoids interact with the Endocannabinoid System found in our bodies.  These cannabinoids help promote homeostasis by interacting with our bodies CB1 and CB2 receptors.

What's the difference between hemp and marijuana?

While they are both part of the Cannabis family of plants, hemp and marijuana are completely different.  The main difference is the amount of THC each one contains.  Marijuana is high in THC, which is the chemical that creates the psychoactive effect.  Essentially, it is the THC that makes you high.  Hemp is low in THC, typically less than 0.3% and is non-psychoactive.

Is CBD oil and hemp oil from the grocery store the same?

The seeds and hemp seed oil from the grocery store are not the same as hemp oil extract, which contain phytocannabinoids.  The hemp seeds and hemp seed oil from the grocery store do not contain the beneficial phytocannabinoids which include CBD.
